I feel incredibly lucky to have had the opportunity to work for flor, who was opening up for Paramore on the Florida dates of tour two. Unfortunately both the Miami and Orlando shows were cancelled and rescheduled due to hurricane Irma, but I am so glad that the Jacksonville show still went as planned. 

For majority of Paramore's set, I was hiding away in flor's green room working and editing (and humming and singing along to what I could hear from Paramore) until I finished a handful of my favorite photos of them. Immediately after I finished, I quickly ran out to try and catch the end of Paramore's set. I made my way to the front, and by this point security was already familiar with me (I have to point out that the venue staff at Moran Theater are like the NICEST people ever) and they let me through to the front section, for what I'm assuming was for VIP people/people who paid a lot of money to be right up front. As a photographer, my job is to capture moments without being too intrusive, and so I found a spot somewhere up close but tried my best to not block the view of others who paid to be there. 

This was the first time I had ever seen Paramore live, and holy crap, it was such an incredible experience. I'm not even mad that this was the first time I had seen them, because I got to see and hear most of their new songs and After Laughter is by far my favorite album of theirs. I just connect with it the most and I left feeling just...so fucking good, and happy, and inspired.
